ATHENS, Ga. David Bakhtiari Super Bowl Jersey . -- Gary Pinkel said No. 25 Missouri won more than a second straight SEC road game when it upset No. 7 Georgia. "I just think we earned a little more respect," Pinkel said. "The respect level just went up a couple notches." Receiver Bud Sasser threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to LDamian Washington in the fourth quarter after quarterback James Franklin left with a shoulder injury and Missouri held off Georgias comeback attempt to beat the short-handed Bulldogs 41-26 on Saturday. Pinkel said Franklin separated his right shoulder and expects the quarterback to miss at least one week. Freshman Maty Mauk, who replaced Franklin in the fourth quarter, could start when Missouri (6-0, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) plays No. 17 Florida next week. Missouri led by 18 points in the first half before Georgia (4-2, 3-1) cut the lead to 28-26 in the fourth quarter. The Tigers answered the challenge with two late touchdowns, despite losing Franklin. Missouris first road win over a top 10 team since 1981 helped continue the Tigers recovery from a 5-7 finish in 2012, their first in season in the SEC. The Tigers have scored 38 or more points in each of their six wins, including last weeks 51-28 win at Vanderbilt. "There is no question that one of the goals for this team is to get back to Missouris winning ways," Pinkel said. "It is a big deal to them. ... They want to get back to competing for championships." The Tigers ended Georgias streak of 15 straight home wins. After Franklin was taken to the locker room, Mauk threw a lateral to Sasser, who stopped and tossed a high, deep pass to the end zone for Washington. Washington, who outfought cornerback Damian Swann for the catch, had 115 yards and two touchdowns. "I came in and everybody just told me to keep calm," Mauk said. "So I came in and got the plays to our guys. We executed well at the end. ... We scored when we needed to." James Ponders interception of Aaron Murrays pass with 4:25 remaining set up Henry Joseys 7-yard touchdown run to end Georgias hopes. Murray threw two interceptions and lost one of Georgias two fumbles. Georgia coach Mark Richt said turnovers helped decide the game. "It was 4-0 on the turnovers," Richt said. "They did a really good job of securing the ball, and we didnt. You hear coaches say it over and over, but you cant win a game turning it over like that." The Bulldogs had won four straight on the strength of a powerful offence, including 44-41 over LSU and 34-31 in overtime over Tennessee the last two weeks. Georgias wave of injuries at tailback and wide receiver left Murray with inexperienced backups at the skill positions to keep pace against another high-scoring opponent. Georgia almost filled a bench on its sideline with injured players who wore their red game jerseys over black warm-up pants. Among them was star tailback Todd Gurley (ankle). After the game, Missouri players ran to edge of the Sanford Stadium hedges and celebrated their biggest SEC win yet with fans in the corner of an end zone. Murray threw his second interception in the final minute. He completed 25 of 45 passes for 290 yards with three touchdowns. "We had plenty of chances to tie it up, but we just didnt execute," Murray said. "We did a pretty good job of getting back in the game. We were within 2 points of tying it up but just couldnt quite get it done." Franklin scored on a 5-yard run in the first quarter and threw a 16-yard scoring pass to Washington in the second quarter. Franklin completed 18 of 27 passes for 170 yards. Marcus Murphy had a 36-yard touchdown run for the Tigers. Defensive end Michael Sam returned a fumble recovery 21 yards for a touchdown to give Missouri a 28-10 lead late in the second quarter. Murray fumbled when he was sacked by defensive end Shane Ray. Georgia rallied as Murray threw touchdown passes of 7 yards to Rantavious Wooten in the third quarter and 10 yards to Chris Conley early in the fourth quarter. Conley couldnt catch Murrays pass on the 2-point conversion attempt that would have tied the game, leaving Missouri with a 28-26 lead. Georgia was also without running back Keith Marshall (right knee) and three of its best receivers. Freshmen J.J. Green and Brendan Douglas filled in at tailback. Georgia starting safety Tray Matthews, who hurt his hamstring in practice Tuesday, also did not play. The loss of so many top threats on offence was the big news of the week for Georgia, but season-long problems on defence were just as glaring against Missouri. The Bulldogs began the day 12th in the SEC in pass defence and last in the league with its average of 32.2 points allowed. Missouri almost matched that total in the first half. Georgia needed help from three Missouri penalties, including two offside calls, for its only touchdown drive of the first half which ended with Murrays 7-yard scoring pass to Douglas late in the first quarter. Missouri outscored Georgia 28-3 the remainder of the half. Jamaal Williams Super Bowl Jersey . - Rookie Kyle Larson will start from the pole position Saturday night in the NASCAR race at Richmond International Raceway after a thunderstorm arrived just in time to wash out qualifying. Bart Starr Super Bowl Jersey . - The Raiders have released guard Mike Brisiel after two disappointing seasons in Oakland. http://www.packersonlineteamstore.com/elgton-jenkins-jersey.html .Johnny there, who knew he had that speed? teammate Tommy Wingels said.Scott and Matt Irwin were unlikely goal-scorers Tuesday night as the previously stingy San Jose Sharks finally sprung a leak or two, blowing a pair of three-goal leads before coming away with a 6-5 shootout victory over the Washington Capitals.Burnley will be in a better position to invest in new signings this summer than when they were last promoted to the Premier League in 2014, according to chairman Mike Garlick. Sean Dyches side confirmed their automatic promotion with a 1-0 victory over QPR on Monday, and the clubs board and scouting department are already working with the manager on plans to improve the playing squad ahead of next season. We want to improve the team, Garlick told Sky Sports News HQ. The emphasis is on quality not quantity, but bearing in mind that balance we have always got to find - between improving, and making sure if the worst-case scenario happens and we dont make it, weve got a sustainable plan for the next four to five years. Burnley celebrate promotion after beating QPR 1-0 (Mark Robinson/SkyBet) Its fair to say last time in the division we had to pay back a lot of external debt, and debt to directors. We also had to redevelop our training ground - that was a top priority - and we also bought our ground back, which we didnt own at the time. That cost about £20-25m, and this time we dont have to do that - we are debt-free.Its fair to say well have an extra pound or two, so we can give it an extra push, whilst maintaining that balance between trying and stay in it whilst knowing if we dont, well have a future for the club. On the financial significance of earning promotion, Garlick confirmed Burnley would receive an unprecedented cash injection from the Premier League. Its well documented that the club finishing bottom gets just shy of £100m, so in black and white terms, that is what its worth to us, he explained. The football club is the cathedral for the town, the fans come there to worship and their prayers have been answered. Burnley chairman, Mike Garlick There are other spin offs, sponsorships, extra people visiting the town - its had its tough times so this can only help. The last time we were in the Premier League, we had to find a balance between trying to stay in it, and investing for the future and making sure in five years time we still had a club, and making sure we could still pay the wages. There are lots of examples of Premier League clubs who have been in it, got relegated, and that are now struggling. We know who they are and dont want to be one of those clubs. Sean Dyche has been a revealation, according to Mike Garlick Garlick paid tribute to manager Dyche, who was able to help the club deal with the disappointment of relegation, and secure an immediate return, seemingly stronnger than when they were promoted two years ago. Marcedes Lewis Super Bowl Jersey. We owe him everything, Garlick admitted. From the day we hired him almost four years ago, hes been a revelation. The main element he brings is the element of camaraderie, teamwork and hard work. All of those things come together, and if you havent got that, you arent going to win anything. Its great for the fans and the town. The football club is the cathedral for the town, the fans come there to worship and their prayers have been answered. Highlights from Burnleys win over QPR in the Sky Bet Championship Burnleys promotion may have been slightly overshadowed by the incredible achievement of Leicester, who won the Premier League hours after Burnleys promotion to the top flight was confirmed.Garlick was quick to send his congratulations to the newly crowned champions, but warned his clubs supporters not to expect a title push at Turf Moor next season. Leicester Citys Premier League win is an inspiration to teams like Burnley It must be fantastic, and well done to them, but if youre suggesting next year we might go and win it, I think that might be difficult! I think if you look back at the last 20 years, its almost been predictable what the top four is going to be, and that has certainly changed this season, he said.I dont think youll get a Leicester winning Premier League every season, but the top four or five clubs might be different over the next five to 10 years. Its well documented that the money is going up in the Premier League, and the differential between the top and the bottom clubs has narrowed.Watch Burnley attempt to wrap up the Sky Bet Championship title when they travel to Charlton on Saturday, live on Sky Sports 2 HD from 12pm.
